The number of routes and loops that can be put together from our area is almost endless. One can find challenging mountain gaps or nice rolling farmland to ride. Distances can be as varied as the riders. The Killington-Pico Club has weekly rides. Please check the club website here. www.kpccvt.org
Mountain Bike Rides
Killington Resort
Killington Resort has some of the finest mountain bike trails that can be found anywhere. Killington has over 45 miles of bike trails. There is something for everyone, whether you want to ride the Gondola and descend or seek-out some excellent single-track on the lower mountain.
Pine Hill Park
Pine Hill park offers a unique 300 acre, highly refined 16 mile singletrack trail system,
offering some of the very best biking in Vermont. For more info please visit www.pinehillpark.org.
Pittsfield
Other options are available too. If you like to climb, the town of Pittsfield is 8 miles north of Killington on Rt. 100. Here you can explore Upper Michigan Road and the Hayes Brook Trail. The Contest Trail located off Liberty Hill Road in Pittsfield also offers fantastic single track with great views. We have maps at the shop.
Green Mountain Trails
The Pittsfield Bike Club helps maintain multi use trails on Public (National Forest) and private land in Pittsfield, Stockbridge, and Chittenden Vermont. For more information please visit www.greenmountaintrails.com.
Looking for flatter terrain? Check out River Road in Killington or Wheelerville Road in Mendon.
The Look Out Tavern located next door to True Wheels Bike Shop hosts a weekly mountain bike ride on Tuesdays at 5pm during the summer months. We ride the trail system at Killington.
